When was the moment you knew speaking was your calling?
I always thought of myself as a writer versus a speaker until someone shared with me that I transformed their life with my spoken words. I wanted to impact even more lives, I knew then speaking was my calling.
What’s one lesson speaking has taught you about leadership?
Know your audience to communicate effectively, build trust, and inspire action. Understanding values and needs, allows leaders to speak both from and to the heart, connect through shared purpose, and clearly convey a compelling vision for the future.
